Fundraising Committee Update

The work of the newly formed Fundraising Committee is to raise money for the church's general fund through a variety of activities. Charged by the Bishop's Committee to this task, as funds are raised and there is "extra" in the general fund, items from the church's improvement "wish list" will be addressed on a priority basis. If you have any requests for items to be added to the wish list, please contact a member of the Bishop's Committee. Sweeping Scotts Valley -- Broom sales are off and running, with many dozen already sold to date. If anyone would like to help sell brooms, please contact Julie Edwards Levy...they are inexpensive, easy to sell, and give the purchaser a chance to contribute to Saint Philip's and get a useful household item in return. The brooms are also available for purchase in the church office. Harvest & Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair -- The Fundraising Committee is beginning work on this first annual event which is planned for Saturday October 19th. The day will include booths with local crafters, handmade items from church members, a food concession, raffle, children's crafts, bake sale, holiday wreath and cedar garland sale, and much more. We need more enthusiastic individuals that would like to help with this fun event.
