New Directors
Eric and Tamah Swenson have graciously volunteered to become the new co-directors of the St. Philip's acolyte program. We are delighted to have them take this important ministry under their wing.
Training Session
St. Philip's is fortunate to have a dynamic and enthusiastic group of acolytes. Thank you to all the youth here for participating as young leaders of the church through their service. We are very grateful for the continued work of Nathaniel O'Brien and Andrew Yabroff, our two Sr. Acolytes, who are especially knowledgeable about church traditions and experienced in serving. Fourth graders and above are welcome to participate in the Acolyte Ministry. A training session will be held this Sunday, October 5th, at 9:15 a.m., prior to our church service. Experienced and new acolytes welcome. Please contact Tamah or Eric Swenson.
Kick-Off Pool Party
Attention all Acolytes: Please join in for the Acolyte Kick-Off Pool Party on Sunday, October 5, right after church. We'll go directly from church to Jonathan and Chris' house at 11:40 am. The "shuttle" will return to St. Philip's at 2:30 pm and parents can pick up there, in the parking lot. Don't forget your swim suit!

Acolyte Prayer

Lord, You love me deeply and in ways I can never really understand; give me grace to serve You during worship so I can actually worship You while I serve and not worry too much about what I am supposed to do; I ask this prayer in Jesus' name. Amen.
