Treat your Mother and/or yourself for Mother's Day! This event will take place the day before Mothers' Day, and would make an excellent gift for someone special (including you!).

St. Philip’s is once again hosting the popular Spring Garden Tour and English Tea Luncheon featuring eight private gardens in northern Santa Cruz County for a self-guided tour from 10 am to 4 pm.

Tickets are $25 for Tour & Tea ($30 @ the door). A map and directions to the gardens will be on the tickets.

Included in the price of the ticket is the English Tea Luncheon hosted by Lucy Gowan and Vicky Granger-Jones. Besides tea, the ladies will serve a wide variety of finger foods, scones, quiche, sandwiches, etc. China and silverware will be used in a decorative English setting. The Tea Luncheon will be served from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm in five reserved seatings at St. Philip's.

This rain-or-shine event is a fundraiser for St. Philip’s.  Tickets can be purchased by filling out the form below and mailing or delivering it to the church, or by picking up an order form at one of the following locations:

· Ivy’s Porch, 5311 Scotts Valley Dr.

· Chamber of Commerce, 4 Camp Evers Ln.

· The Plant Works, Highway 9, Felton

· San Lorenzo Garden Center, 235 River St., Santa Cruz

Or, you can call Nancy Jackson.

We are also planning to have plants and garden art available for sale, as well as raffle items including a beautiful quilt donated by Julie Levy and a wooden potting bench made by Val Jackson. Tickets for the Raffle will be available on Sundays after church beginning April 18, or at church on May 8.

Text Box: Teapots Needed
We are hoping to create a display of pretty teapots on the parish hall bookshelves to add a charming ambience to the English Tea Luncheon. They will be for decorative purposes only and be kept safely on the shelves the whole day. If anyone has teapot(s) they would be willing to lend us for this display, please contact Karin Clift Thank you very much.

PLEASE HELP!

In order to make this a successful fundraiser for St. Philip's, we need your help! We need MANY volunteers for various jobs in approx. 3-hour shifts.

· Act as a "docent" at one of the gardens (answer questions, help with parking, etc.)

· Help at the church to sell garden art, plants, etc.

· Help serve the tea luncheon

· Help prepare food for the luncheon

Please look for the sign-up sheet in the church foyer, or call Karin Clift ). THANK YOU!

If you are a member of a local group or organization, please consider asking that our Garden Tour be included in your group’s newsletter and/or take some flyers to your next meeting.
