Saturday, October 16, 9 am to 3 pm

Many thanks to everyone working to make the Arts & Crafts Fair a success! This promises to be a FUN event for the whole family! We are excited to report that all booth spaces have been filled! Come and shop!

We  will have a total of 22 vendor booths in the Parish Hall Foyer and in the Breezeway area. Several St. Philip’s members will be selling their own crafts including Nancy Connor, Janet Duncan, Val Jackson, Ying Liang, Donna Seelbach and Kim Schultz.

We still need raffle items!! So far, we have a donation from Val Jackson (birdhouse) and Julie Levy (quilt wall hanging), and our vendors will be donating items for a basket.  We really need a couple more items, so please think about what you could donate.  How about a basket of food items including a gift certificate to a local restaurant or shop??

All vendors have paid a booth deposit and will also be contributing 15% of their profits to St. Philip’s. This is a wonderful opportunity for our Church to raise some much-needed funds!

Our Middle Schoolers will be providing hands-on crafts for children . We will also be offering breakfast goodies and lunch items for sale! Look for sign-up sheets on Sundays to provide items or contact Lucy Gowan or Jong An.

And last, but not least, we will have a wonderful QUILT display in the Sanctuary and Breezeway. If you have a quilt to show, please let Julie Levy know.

If you are going to provide baked goods, here are a few guidelines to help in your preparation that will make our items easier to display.

1.    Enclose your item in some sort of "clear" or viewable plastic.

2. Place larger items on a flat surface, such as a sturdy paper or plastic plate.

3. Attach a label or tag with the name of the item (and whether or not it includes nuts).

4. Suggestions: whole pies, cakes, coffee cakes; cookies, brownies, muffins, candy, etc.

5. Please drop off at church (kitchen) on Fri., Oct. 15th between 8 am and 8 pm or Sat., Oct. 16th before 9 am.

PLEASE SIGN UP TO HELP!

· Work a shift in a booth or check-out/tickets

· Provide something for the Bake Sale (can include preserves, baked goods, candy, etc.)

· Provide food items for breakfast/lunch sales

· Lend us a Quilt for the day to be displayed!

· Donate an item for the Raffle

We will also have our very popular bake sale (organized by Sara DeRouchey), food concession (Lucy Gowan & Jong An), wreath sales, a wonderful and colorful quilt display (Julie Levy) and a raffle (Julie O’Brien)!

We hope you will be able to volunteer at our first Harvest & Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair – or at least come by to enjoy the festivities and shop! Spread the word – bring friends and family. This is a great opportunity to do some early Christmas shopping!!!!!!!

See you there!
