~ You know me better than anyone.

~ You are with me in my darkest hour.

~ And help me shine in my brightest
moment.

~ When life becomes overwhelming, you are there to help ground me.

~ I can call upon you both day and night.

~ You are the best listener.

~ You are all-powerful and all-knowing.

~ You are the greatest comforter.

~ You will always point me in the right direction.

~ My everlasting companion:

~ Some people doubt you,
some people hate you,
but not me.

~ Some people don’t believe in you,
but I do.

~ Some people use your name in vain,
I do too.

~ When we repent, you forgive us.

~ When we pray, you listen.

~ You are always there for me
and everyone.

~ I love you.

~ And God will make a lightning storm when Evil is in Good’s presence.

~ To drive away the Evil so Good can
triumph,

~ And find the power God sent to them whatever it may be.

~ As I walk through the rubble of many battles,

~ I look up to see an opening in the thick black clouds.

~ A light of hope.

~ Life is a long journey.

~ It twists and turns in many directions,

~ Through dark times and along green
valleys.
