Thank you to Bruce Clift and Jack Doscher for sending press releases and advertisements to local newspapers. Thank you to Annie Warr for plastering posters and spreading flyers all over town! Thank you to Val and Nancy Jackson for displaying the banners in front of the church and on the Chamber of Commerce wall. |

Thank you to our wonderful garden docents who greeted visitors to each garden, directed parking, and assured that both guests and owners had a happy open garden experience. Our docents this year were: Tod and Nancy Connor, Francis and Cindy Honey, Bill and Janice Lages, Bob and Julie Mazurek, Brian and Wendy Harrison, Carter Potts, and Mary Powers. These folks were so important not only as docents, but also as friendly and positive contacts between St. Philip’s and the garden guests. Thank you so much to all of you for your indispensable help in this area! |

We also had great people helping at the church. On the door to welcome guests, answer questions, and help assure a pleasant experience for all were Bobbi Bond, Jody Evenson, Cindy Hershberger, and Margaret Nordstrom. Checking in guests for their lunch reservations was the ever lovely and courtly Donna Jones. Betty Joiner did a wonderful job of thanking our guests for coming and presenting them with a complimentary lavender sachet Thank you to Nancy Jackson for coordinating our raffle and advance ticket sales and to Val Jackson for gracing our foyer with his beautifully crafted birdhouses and donating 10% of his sales to St. Philip’s. Thank you to Janet Duncan for taking on the complicated and multi-tasking job of processing ticket requests, taking reservations for the English Tea, sending out comp tickets, and coordinating with ticket buyers. Her patience, graciousness, excellent suggestions for improvement, and her kindness in taking on this difficult and time-consuming job is much appreciated. |

Thank you so much to everyone who helped with setting up the Parish Hall, kitchen, and foyer on Friday evening, and to everyone who baked scones and brought other foods and supplies on Saturday. Following our event, we had a great clean-up crew which included, Steve Allen and Karen Hellgren-Allen, Bill Kelly, Barbara Lyon, and Lucy Gowan. Clean-up also is a critical and much-appreciated job—thank you so much to everyone who helped out with this aspect. Thank you also very much to The Reverend Bill Kelly for his support and presence both before and during our fundraiser and for setting us off right with a prayer for the day. |
