We are on the look out for a host of angels and one archangel!

Sundries for ISSP Ladies

Summer is here and many of us will be traveling to beautiful places and staying in hotels.  Most hotels provide complimentary toiletries, many of which guests may not actually use. 

If any of you would like to save and bring home your small unopened bottles of shampoo, hand lotion, lip balm, soap, toothpaste etc., you are most welcome to give them to Karin Clift who will distribute them to the homeless women of the ISSP.

We are looking to set up a more formalized program of caring for members of our church community.  We would like to get a (long!) list of volunteers, angels, who would be prepared to help out others when the need arises: this could mean cooking meals, providing child care, driving people around etc. 

We need someone to step forward to be a point person, an archangel, to be contacted when there is a need in the congregation and to head up a phone tree.   Please check out the desk by the entrance to the Sanctuary where there is an Angel Volunteer form to fill out: you can say what sort of volunteer work you would be prepared to undertake.  Thank You!!!
