Narnia Party!!!On the 1st weekend in June, Julie, Vicky and Marcus organized a Narnia party for the Sunday school students. When the students arrived they decorated jars to put a candle in. This was for the service later on in the night. They also played “sardines,” which is an extraordinary version of “hide and seek.” One person goes and hides and everyone else has to look for them. When someone finds them, they join the person hiding. It was great fun to play in a big group! For dinner we all ate pizza and fruit. YUM! |

After dinner, we teamed up into groups of three and went on a scavenger hunt. We had to find Narnia-themed cards………...a Mr. Beaver is still missing in the garden!!! Try and find it!!! To settle down after all this excitement, we snuggled up in the Blue Room with lots of popcorn and watched the Chronicles of Narnia movie. |

After the movie ended Vicky led a Compline candlelit service in the Sanctuary. After that we settled down to sleep (sort of!). Antonia won the prize for the best sleeper!!! Carter joined us for the sleep over too and many thanks to Laura who brought us all breakfast in the morning!! |
