So Much News It Takes TWO PAGES and THREE CALENDARS!!!

We’re putting together a great calendar for St. Philip’s youth this year.  We’re very pleased to have such supportive leadership here at church, our young people are very fortunate indeed. Presented here is 3 schedules: One for St. Philip’s Middle Schoolers, one for High Schoolers, and one together with St. Johns, Capitola.

Middle School: Music, Merriment, and More

We’re exploring new curriculum, we hope to have something really good in place for Middle School by Oct. 1st.  Our trip to Watsonville Airport with Bill DeRouchey has been postponed until Oct. or November, watch for the announcement, I’ll mail you something.

Music Ministry for youth continues to be a lot of fun.  Many thanks to our Youth Music Director for her time, talent and encouragement.  Youth band members, (and those who would like to be) should check their email for access information to her website, which includes our youth music booklet.  Our repertoire is small but growing and we have plans to play Oct. 1 at the Blessing of the Animals, and maybe at Pastor Mary’s Installation Ceremony Saturday Oct. 28th.  If you haven’t received a youth music schedule by email, contact Carter.
