The Fifth Annual Arts & Crafts Fair at St. Philip’s was a great success.  The sun shone, the people came.  They were assisted to park (valet-style) if necessary, they were equipped with shopping baskets, and invited to shop and eat.  Shop and eat they did!

The parking lot was full most of the day, and the vending areas had a steady flow of shoppers.  Our quilt display was, as usual, much admired, and our lunches and baked goods consumed with great enthusiasm!

An enormous THANK YOU goes out to everyone who helped and supported us. So many people donated their time, baked goods, lent quilts or showed up to shop that it really felt as though everyone from this church got involved.  Particular thanks to Lucy for organizing the food side of things, to Barbara and Sandy for decorating so beautifully, to Vicky and Julie O’Brien for the Raffle, to Sara for coordinating volunteers, to Barbara and Sara (again), Deborah Gustavson and Julie Levy for arranging the quilts so artfully and to Jose for the publicity.  Nancy and Val Jackson made time to help us in the final preparations (and repairs) even as they were finishing their move!  Thank you!"

We have a local business that for the past two years has purchased wreaths for all of their employees...If you know of any local businesses that might be interested in giving wreaths to their employees, customers or clients, please let me know!

Please let me know if you would like a wreath for yourself, anyone else...or any businesses...julie@edwardslevy.com

We can take orders until November 14th. You may pay for your wreath when you pick it up or in advance, whatever you wish. If you do want to pay in advance, please make your check payable to St. Philip’s and give it to either me or Valerie Sims-Johnson the next time you see us!

Enjoy this beautiful fall season, beauty all around.

             Warmly,

We received many compliments on the quality of merchandise, the food, how friendly everyone is at this event and on the beautiful quilts.  We made money as well!!  What more could we ask?!
