Pacific Voices Holiday Concerts

St. Philip's Family,

Several of you have asked me about the Pacific Voices Holiday concert coming up.  It will be Saturday, December 9, at 7:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Santa Cruz, located at 900 High Street.  As many of you know, the acoustics are fantastic there, and we have a really great program.  As usual, the music will include many different styles, religious backgrounds, languages, etc.  It should be a really great concert.  Pacific Voices will also be singing on Dec. 17th at 1 & 3 pm in front of O’Neil’s on Pacific Garden Mall.

Tickets are $15, and I have some if you would like them.  You can call or email me and I will either bring them to you or have them held at will call.

Gateways Books is also selling them, and there may be some tickets left at the door.  I am happy to deliver them to you if that is easiest--just let me know.  And thanks in advance to those who have already purchased them and plan to come.

Warm regards,

             Susan Seaburg

The Jacksons Settle into their
Winter Wonderland

Hello St. Philip's family

Greetings from rainy and snowy Washington! We're sure glad we got here when we did instead of this week! After a November of all-time record breaking rain, we have experienced record cold and snow! We've gotten about 7" here and the temperature dipped to about 25° at the lowest.

Our road has been an ice rink, so we Californians with no snow tires haven't risked driving yet. We are staying warm and cozy in our new home and finally getting through the piles of boxes.

The temperatures are "warming" up today to the mid 30's, so the snow and ice are melting fast.  We even saw the sun today! Our property is a winter wonderland and hope the pictures I've sent along will come out. It is really beautiful!!

We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

Love,

Val and Nancy Jackson
